Glasgow-based business leader Ian Lundie recently joined NVable Limited as Director of Strategic Consulting and will spearhead NVable’s expansion into broad based support for businesses at all stages of their development.-
Ian is a chartered accountant who qualified with Coopers and Lybrand before embarking on a business career that has brought him extensive board level experience in a variety of UK and multinational companies, ranging from privately held, family owned concerns to major publicly quoted corporations. He has been involved in new start ups, business turnarounds and owner exits, as well as substantial corporate mergers, acquisitions and disposals. His experience spans many sectors including professional services, travel and tourism, retail, software and manufacturing.
Ian is delighted to be re-joining Scottish entrepreneur and former colleague Cameron Hood, founder and CEO of NVable, at this very exciting stage in the company’s development. NVable was first established in 2005 and over recent years has built up a strong reputation for delivering pragmatic, no nonsense IT software solutions directed at addressing business needs.
Operating from NVable’s base in Glasgow, Ian and his colleagues plan to repeat and grow upon that success across all aspects of client business operations, ranging from the provision of strategic support to the board to the delivery of targeted functional assistance and support in any area of the business. Maximising operational and financial efficiency, improving margins and delivering growth are often key objectives but, of course, each assignment will be different and will be met with NVable’s usual no nonsense, straight talking and high level personal engagement.
In addition to his consulting activities, Ian is keeping his hand in business as a key member of the NVable management team and CFO/Company Secretary for the business.
Ian looks forward to hearing from anyone wanting to discuss a business issue or challenge with him. If NVable can’t help, he’ll say so but that doesn’t happen too often! Contact him on 0141 280 0050 or by e-mail at ian.lundie@nvable.com.
