The end of the development phase sees the opening of a new chapter – implementation. And this is often as complex as the development.

Implementation is one of the most challenging stages of any project. Not only are you dealing with technology, but people too. It’s vital the technology works, and works as expected. And it’s equally important the users understand what’s happening and feel involved in the transition to the new system. It’s a lot to manage, but we can help.

Working closely with our support and services teams, a detailed plan for deployment is created. It doesn’t matter whether the system is being hosted by us, by you, or by a third party, the hardware and software requirements will be thoroughly documented in advance.

Every angle covered

If your new system requires data to be imported from elsewhere, a link with an existing system, or if you are starting afresh, we will ensure all angles have been covered.   Our implementation team will ensure the system is set up, ready to go when you need it, and that access to all required data is available.

Before a new system goes live, we will help ensure users have enough knowledge to feel comfortable using it. As well as being able to provide training for superusers, we are also able to provide as much end user training as required. This, combined with training installations, on-line help and user manuals, ensures the people who will be using your system have the knowledge they need, and know where to turn if they have questions.

Analysing the real world

As part of the implementation planning, we would commonly use our business analysts to reassess the real world processes of your business. They will plan how new or changed processes will be integrated into the organisation and assist in the training of managers and users.

You can feel secure knowing we will be supporting you during the ‘system go-live’ and beyond. If you need help and support, we will have people in place to ensure any problems you come across are resolved quickly, whether this requires instruction over the phone, an on-site visit, or development fixes and a new release.
